Southberry Park is a new neighborhood located on Barr Road in Lexington, SC.  This new neighborhood developed by McCar Homes is 21 minutes (15 miles) west of Columbia SC.  McCar Homes is based out of Atlanta, Georgia and are in the Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina Markets. Southberry Park right off EXIT 51 from Interstate 20, right on Longs Pond, right on Barr Road, and on your right.  The home design is traditional and construction is a mixture of brick/stone fronts with vinyl.  Space ranges from 2,400 sq ft to 3,000 sq.ft.  Price of this Lexington neigbhorhood ranges from the low $200,000 to low $300,000.  Lot sizes range from 10,000 sq ft (1/4 of an acre) to 15,000 sq ft (1/3 of acre).  Terrain is varied to level, some inclined with some basements (unfinished) which is uncommon in the area. Their inventory of spec homes are always changing.   They are running promotions for certain spec homes such as price reductions, free-basements options, and $5,000 towards closing costs.  Promotions and reductions are constantly changing. 

 

     Location is great with close convenience to I-20 (2 miles). Southberry Park is zoned Lexington One Schools, for the following Pleasant Hill Elementary, Pleasant Hill Middle, and Lexington High School.  All the schools are within a 10 minute drive from Southberry Park.  The Country Club of Lexington is only minutes away on Barr Road.  HOA dues are $295/year.
