That is the big question that a lot of homeowners today are asking themselves. Should I stay or should I go?  Sorry, but there is not one magic answer for everyone.  It all depends on your personal cirmcumstances.  If you do not have to move for employment reasons, stay in your current home and improve it.  No one really knows when the bottom of market until afterwards.  Start improving your home (investment) now so when the market does pick up your home is ready to go.  I have consulted may prospective home sellers who improve their home 30 days before they put it on the market.  Why not enjoy those improvements while you are still in it.  During this time, keep in contact with your local REALTOR since they have a good sense of what the home market is doing. PLAN AN EXIT STRATEGY for selling your home.  Make a game plan for your improvements and a possible active listing date with your REALTOR.  This will help you set a deadline for the completion of your improvements.   I will talk more about what type of easy improvements that you can do to help sell your home as part of your HOME SELLING EXIT STRATEGY.
