"Nelson Bermas sold my house in three weeks!"

     I was faced with the prospect of selling a house in South Carolina while I was living in Kansas and was not looking forward to having to deal with the hassles of a long-distance sale and closing.  While I was in town preparing the house for sale I placed a "For Sale By Owner" sign in the yard and Nelson was the only agent that called to inquire about the house and offer his help with the sale.  This proactive attitude was present in all his work.  When the house was ready to show I called fifteen agents, interviewed three of those and chose Nelson.  In addition to having good knowledge of the market and an objective view of how to present and sell the property, he listened carefully to my thoughts and concerns.  He was engaging and dynamic in conversation, knowing when to press and when to pause.  It was immediately apparent that he could effectively negotiate and close a deal.

     After listing the property Nelson maintained good communication, forwarding the results of showings and the comments received on a weekly basis.  He was easily accessible by cell phone and e-mail at any time of day.  Within three weeks we had a contract and closed the sale four weeks after that.  Nelson handled the inspections, repairs and closing requirements very effectively and gave me confidence that the closing would proceed smoothly.  I remain very pleased with his performance and highly recommend his services.
